LinkedIn: I have Just received a connection request from a fake account masked as one of my actual connection.  So I asked Linkedin for help. What is Linkedin doing to combat this rising threat to its social media platform? I have reported the profile sent a screen shot to the actual connection alerting him that someone is using his identity to potentially commit fraud. I'd like specifics; Linkedin needs to explain how it will get ahead of this.

Have you noticed a rise in ALL of Social Media platforms...fake news and fake accounts? Is It up to the user community or is the platform first to blame, agree or disagree, thoughts?
